New This Week

Kootenay Discipleship Connection
will begin September 19th with Pastor Rawlin Falk
teaching New Testament Survey. Classes will be held at the
KCF Hall at 812 Stanley Street from 7-9pm. Tuition fee is $30
and $20 for the textbook. If you are a new student there is
also a $15 registration fee. If you are just wanting to audit
the course, it is $10. Contact 352-7700 to register. Full
payment is due on or before September 19th.

Fall programs will be commencing
the week of September 9th including Sunday School,
Youth, and Thursday Night Care Groups with the exception of
Ladies’ Group which will begin on September 18th
and the Men’s Breakfast which will begin on September 19th
at the Hume Hotel at 6:30 am.

Parents meeting on September 11th

Guatemala Missions Hotdog Sales
will be held on August 24, 25 and September 1 at our local
Wal-Mart. If you can volunteer, call Doreen. 354-2077.

Castlegar Christian Fellowship’s inaugurating service. Stay
tuned for time.

There will be no children’s
workers meeting this Tuesday, but it will be made up on August
28th.
Success By Six is offering a bursary
for those who have children 0-6 years that would like to enrol
their child into sporting activities, but are unable. There is an
application form to fill out and Pastor Jim will happily sign it
